Important Reminders...
- Double-entry journal responses - Your response must include: 1) one paragraph explaining the quote as it relates to the text and 2) at least one paragraph explaining a connection (text-to-self, text-to-text, or text-to-world).
- Quote format - When you write a quote from a text, you should use the following format: "...author's words..." (#). Look at this example quote from Speak, "I am Outcast" (4).
